Leather Collar and Leash Product Care

At Canine’s Collar we recommend following these guidelines for the perfect care of your dog accessories:

 

• Should the Leather get wet or dirty, dry with a lint free, light-colored, absorbent cloth. Never use soap or solvent. Wipe away dirt with a warm damp cloth and leave to dry flat away from a heat source

 

• We recommend protecting the great quality of your product with a Leather Balsam.

 

• Beware not to scratch or rub your product against abrasive surfaces, such as: sand paper, pavement, etc. especially on the leather trim.

• Keep your product from direct exposure to sunlight. Keep your product away from any direct source of heat (radiators, car interiors overheated by the sun, etc). The vegetable tanned leathers can cause color change under UV light. The leather will naturally soften and darken with use.
